Greetings from Parkers Prairie High School! My name is Carey Johnson and I am proud to be the Secondary Principal, grades 7-12. This is my 12th year in the role. We have an outstanding, warm staff that is interested in doing right by our students, right by our community, and building a culture of learners. We have approximately 270 students each year, give or take. These students participate in numerous activities throughout the year, including academic, athletic, and fine arts activities.

Parkers Prairie High School is on Highway 29, a block north of Lake Adley. We take pride in our students and our school. We have great community support. We serve the communities of Parkers Prairie and Urbank. We also have a large number of open enrolled students from other nearby communities. Our small school size, in addition to the relationships between students and staff, make us who we are.

Personally, I am enjoying raising my two sons who are currently in high school. I enjoy spending my time with them, watching their activities, reading, and learning. We have a dog, Scout, who easily convinces me to take her for a walk in the evenings.

If you are interested in becoming a Parkers Prairie Panther or have the need to discuss something with me, please contact me. I can be reached at: 218.338.6011 or [email protected]

Wishing you a great school year!
Principal Carey Johnson
